Starting from academic year 23 - 24, the Flemish Government will introduce new rules affecting new students. What does this mean for you?
- New students enrol for a bachelor study programme of 60 ECTS - credits. The following exceptions are possible:
- on the basis of an individual case (e.g. when you are entitled to exemptions)
- when you are entitled to special status if you are a top athlete, are a working student, etc.)
- when you already have a bachelor's or master's degree.
- If you start a bachelor's programme in 23-24, you have to pass all your courses of your first enrolment after two academic years. If after two academic years you have not passed all the courses of your first enrolment, you can no longer enrol in the same programme, not even at another Flemish university college. However, you can still start in another programme, either a graduate or bachelor's programme.
So make a good and thoughtful study choice!
